This Beyond Polus whitening treatment lightens the shade of teeth using a combination of 6% or 12% hydrogen peroxide-based gel and an accelerator lamp for 4 consecutive 12 minute sessions. The lamp uses LED and Halogen bulbs and Lightbridge technology to remove the UV and heat from the lamps. It also uses ultrasonic technology to vibrate the whitening gel particles to accelerate the process. This allows us to use a much lower percentage hydrogen peroxide gel than other in-surgery whitening systems resulting in less post-treatment sensitivity. Additional boosting sessions may be required to achieve a dramatic shade change although we guarantee at least 2 shades lighter. Hygiene care is recommended prior to whitening to ensure gum health and to remove surface staining and it is recommended you have had a dental check-up with your dentist at least 12 months prior to whitening to ensure you do not have any current cavities.
